"Oops." I answer sarcastically.
I had a sudden idea of getting piss drunk with her, amongst other things, but I doubted she was in any shape for that.
"Did the doctor ever say how long you'll be immobile?"

[Midge]

[Silver]

"He didn't tell me... Probably because he'd be setting my next goal," I snort.
"I'm up and walking still due to the fact that he's still asleep."
My hand runs over the top of my dress, faintly feeling a stitch.
"I looked at it this morning. He told me not too. Told Trevor not to let me see it..."

[Bemottled]

[Kifer]

"Woops again. Might've slipped him a bit too much alcohol last night.."
I trace her curves absently, not much noticing the feel of the stitches. Maybe that was just me.
"Guessing Trevor didn't listen?"

[Midge]

[Silver]

I chuckle again and shiver into him, fitting against the side of his body.
"He isn't one to tell me no and I knew I'd see it eventually... I just didn't expect the nausea that hit me at the sight of it."
For some reason, actually seeing that many stitches on my torso nearly made me pass out.
It was... Sickening.
Plus the fact that the wound connected to my heart surgery scar... Bringing it down to basically my navel.

"Do you want me to take my shirt off to make you feel better? I bet im more fucked up than you in the scar range. We can play 'color the scar' and Ill be a rainbow."
I answer.
Her stitches might be rather extensive, but I didn't understand why she was so upset about them. Lack of understanding might kill the moment, but...I tried.

[Silver]

I laugh again and shake my head.
"I think I'm good. Plus, if you took off your shirt, I'd feel the need to show you my stitches and that would mean taking off my dress."
"So I'm not doing that."
He might find it amusing, but unfortunately all it really took to take my dress off was to untie the neck piece holding it up.

"Well, that wouldn't be so bad.." I say, playfully nibbling her neck.
"But alright, if you insist."
I stop worrying her neck and tug her against me a bit more, my eyes slipping up to watch the mist on the water.
I had a few questions to ask, but figured they could wait.

[Silver]

A giggle escapes my mouth at the attention to my neck and I stick my tongue out at him.
I'm glad he was managing to keep his pervy side mainly to himself...
Not that I would really mind if he didn't.
I rub my cheek against his chest a little and let my eyes close.

[Kifer]

I was glad my boots weren't worn enough yet to let the water into them.
It'd suck to stand out here with my feet soaked.
"I shouldn't be here.." I say quietly.
How hypocritical of me to tell her to stop being clingy and then end up like this..

[Silver]

I heard him and look up at him.
"I suppose... But you are just standing here..."
Unless he planned on doing something else while we were out here.
I was starting to get a bit tired from standing for so long, but I figured I could get back to Ben just fine if I needed too.

I shift slightly and let her go, tugging my sleeves up.
"I've still got thinking to do... I'm going to find a spot on the beach and probably sleep there. You can join me if you want, but you'll just get more cynical ramblings for conversation."
I trudge back to the shore, glancing around for a spot I could lie in without getting coated in sand.

[Silver]

I watch him, almost reluctant to let him go.
"Sleep well then," I mutter, watching him head back.
I hold back a sigh and glance out at the water once more before heading back to the house.
My energy levels were scarily low and I was starting to wobble.

I give up on finding a spot and toss my trench coat on the sand before stretching out on it and closing my eyes.
I spent way too much time sleeping these days.
Came with the lack of shit trying to kill me, I guess.
I had alot of sleep to catch up on..

[Midge]

[Silver]

I manage to get back inside the house without Trevor's help.
... I needed help with the stairs though unfortunately.
My breath was a bit shaky and he was starting to look at me funny, but I shake my head at him.
I slip back into Ben's room and simply slide onto the floor next to his bed, my arms folded on the edge of it with my head there.
Exhaustion didn't even let me get onto the damn bed.

I stir slightly and blink open my eyes, happy to find her there.
"Hey.."
I run a hand lightly through her hair, the sedatives making me a bit weak.

[Midge]

[Silver]

"Hey, babe..." I exhale, ready to pass out where I was sitting.
He seemed dead, but then again most of us were right now.
I was just glad he was okay.

[Ben]

"How'd it go..?" I ask, eventually dropping my hand because it felt like it was made of lead.
I hated sleeping this much. I'd rather be out working..
I wondered again where Seven was, and if anyone had been able to take care of him after the accident.

[Midge]

[Silver]

"I cried... As usual," I smirk tiredly, pulling the clip out of my hair.
"Kifer showed up and talked to me for a bit before going to find a place to sleep."
I figured I should tell him, even if it would most likely bug him.

[Bemottled]

[Ben]

"Thats..." I trail off into a yawn.
"Thats alright, I guess. Kifer didn't give you any trouble?"
I felt slightly jealous, though I knew I shouldn't. I didn't think Silver would be completely unfaithful...

[Midge]

[Silver]

"Nahh, just stopped me from bawling," I chuckle;
"Which was nice since I didn't want to come back to you looking more shitty than I do now."
I kiss his hand and roll my shoulders a little, yawning into my hand.

[Ben]

"Still look beautiful to me." I say, smiling faintly.
"In any case, Im sure you look better than I do.."
It was getting really difficult to stay awake.

[Midge]

[Silver]

I smirk and nuzzle his hand at the compliment.
"Well.. I am a woman in a dress. Guys in dresses are kinda scary."
His eyes were drooping pretty bad...
I tug my shoes off and carefully pull myself up onto the bed to lie next to him.

[Ben]

I can't shift much to give her room, but wrap an arm around her and sigh quietly.
"You should sleep here tonight. It gets lonely."
I'd also had some seriously disturbing dreams lately and waking up alone was horrible.
I couldn't feel anything roughly below my knees, and the doctor hadn't let me see what my legs looked like...
...I'd assumed the worse.
Depressing thought to be left with all the time.

[Silver]

"I can understand that..." I mutter, nuzzling his neck gently.
Hopefully Ben could keep me from looking at my wound.
I kept wanting to prod and stare, even if it made me ill just looking at it.
My dress didn't seem to bother me anymore and I didn't mind if I'd fall asleep in it.
"I love you," I add, looking at him and running a hand through his hair.
We had gone through so much shit over the past years.

I set my forehead against hers.
"I love you, too." I answer, my voice quiet.
"And..Silver.."
I trail off and sigh.
"I've had too much time to think.. but I feel like there's a gap in my memory. Things don't add up like they should.."
