Green Mist Stables [GMS]

Green Mist Stables [GMS]
Green Mist Stables is located along the Washington coast line. The closest town to the stables is Bellingham, but the term close is a kind word for the distance. The area was picked because of its isolation, which had been untouched for quite some time until Silver found it.
Terrain:
GMS is not flat, but not full of steep hills or cliffs. The basic land of the area is hilly and utterly green, which flows into the grey sand of the beaches which line the broad side of the stables. Oak trees are fairly abundant and scattered about the 400 some odd acres of land, but they're more concentrated around the area on the base of the mountain. The mountain, of which, adds more onto the land because of its size. There are also a handful of willow trees along the coast line and they are massive, thus causing them to stand out quite a bit.
Climate:
The weather about GMS is quite obvious due to the beach it focuses on. The seasons are basically Spring, Fall, and Winter, due to all of the precipitation that is constantly being carried over the acres. It doesn't rain as much as it seemingly ought too, but it is usually foggy or damp and utterly cold. The green mist is constant and is mainly focused above the water, but is sometimes carried over the beach and onto the grassy hills, but no further.
What GMS is Known For:
GMS is distinguished by a right extended wing, usually branching from a cursive G. This emblem is branded on the door of Silver Winterholden's door and on the stables for notice to strangers. The obvious other trait would be the permanently green misted waters that span the horizon of the stables, hence the title. As of late, the minor characteristics are the discovery of the Fylimorga and the Siberian Polar Hounds that reside on the land. It has become Silver's choice to gradually bring them to the public, thus keeping extended information to herself. Also, another icon that has been coming up here and there about the stables is a flat image of a purple butterfly, which is unknown to others of its meaning. Again, extended information is hidden as a precaution.
The horses of GMS are trained to be obedient, but kind to all, say for the breeds that are naturally rude. Silver chose the enviornment and placing of her stables just for the temperament training. She believed that the beach would soothe and relax the horses she gained, giving them a sense of freedom whenever they wished.

Fylimorga Information:

- History
The Fylimorga have been known to be Gods, or Guardians, because of their appearance; the elegant beast of a horse, the wings of a bird, and the antlers of a stag. However, they are simply a creation that has risen up near the Green Mist Stables, a mountainous region called Delma. Their existence was well hidden and still is, as of current date, leaving them to wander their range without worry.
Their exact creation is unknown and is still being looked into by the workers of GMS.
Silver, the owner of GMS, has had enough observation of the Fylimorga to know that their traits are fairly similar to that of a regular horse, thus giving them the ability to breed with any normal horse. The antlers are a dominant gene, whereas the wings are more recessive, giving the Fylimorga a mass diversity of winged and non-winged horses.
Other possibilities are still being thought out.
Build/Intelligence
The stature of the Fylimorga has been seen as an American Paint Horse because of the range of color; however, the build is more recognizable as a Thoroughbred. They are overall slender and sometimes scrawny.
The hooves are small and slightly pointed, giving them the easier ability to take off at high speeds when needing to dig into the ground in order to give them that extra lift.
Their snouts are long and narrow and their hips are rather bony, but are in no doubt fragile. The bone structure of the Fylimorga is surprisingly strong and tough, despite how bony they look, which is logical seeing as how most of them don’t land all too well. This also gives them the advantage during any kind of storm because they can withstand the wind power, so if you want to travel during any sort of storm, it’s not a question of whether or not the horse is ready, but whether or not you’re ready.
Fylimorga stand tall and are normally around 17-19 hands tall without the height of their antlers, which add another six to seven hands.
The wings’ length matches the length of the horse or they extend further, which is more known to males than females.
A Fylimorga’s capabilities are based on their intelligence level, being extremely high, thus causing them to be a great horse, and a hated horse. If a Fylimorga has rejected you as a rider, there is no second chance, because there is one reason or another as to why you are not allowed on their backs.
The main difference between male and female Fylimorga is their antlers. Xemore is a prime example of the antler type for males: straight and pointed, which are ideal for territorial fights between the males. The antlers of females are twisted and more rounded at the ends, but still sharp enough to make a point if necessary.
Fylimorga also have canines, which are set like ours, but pushed back two sets so to be less noticeable.
Coloring
Fylimorga are rarely found in full dark colors, but like a black sheep, there is at least one per herd. The body color comes in three different shades, getting dark by the spine, center of the face, and snout. They are a mix of whites, grays, tans, browns, and creams, with the rare black and charcoal option.
Their hooves match the color of their mane and tail, which are the darkest colored part of the Fylimorga, and the wings are a mix of the base three.
Markings have not yet been found, but have been assumed to be carried over by mating with a marked horse.
Diet
As any other horse, Fylimorga are particular to fresh green grass and hay, however, with the help from their canines, they also love fish. All Fylimorga have a particular taste to salmon and halibut, but will take trout and the rare tuna. They are used to eating the raw fish, yet will take cooked fish any day if offered.
Also, they have a strange liking to flowers, so if you have a flowerbed, I suggest keeping them away from there.
Temperament
This type of horse has been related to monks and then to the attitude of a flicked bull, giving a wide spectrum of how these horses act. In Delma, all Fylimorga work together and tolerate each other unless provoked by personal reasons or an outside threat. If observed, they are calm, peaceful horses that rarely ever make a sound; however, if one feels threatened, they will beat you to a pulp if you are found. Their antlers give a deadly weapon and are known to have speared plenty of intimidating animals that come into their territory in order to prove a point.
When it comes to their riders, they are particular to one, but will take another partial if friendly enough. It depends on the personality of the Fylimorga whether or not you will be able to ride them. Show them that you are not a threat and they will not see you as one, until further notice of some change that they dislike.
Between each other, they are fairly simple to understand and can be controlled if necessary. If two males come together within a stable, it is imperative that you keep them far enough apart that they cannot reach one another, but close enough that they are able to make eye contact. If left alone long enough, the two will silently make a mutual friendship and will not damage each other out of random anger. The females are naturally kind to all females and will even protect another foal if they feel it will be endangered.
Grooming
Midst every normal horse’s grooming, a Fylimorga is rather picky about how they are treated in appearance. They deem themselves elegant and flamboyant, thus giving them a bit of an uptight attitude. Their manes and tails need to be brushed often to keep out any knots or any other obstruction that would stick. If this is not taken care of, you will be lucky if you can get near your Fylimorga. However, do not think you can put bows in their manes or braid their tails; they will never forgive you. They prefer their natural growth and will give in to the occasional trimming if necessary, but do not over do it.
When it comes to dirt and whatnot, they are not thrilled about it, but will tolerate a fair amount. If you throw a handful of mud at your Fylimorga, be prepared to clean it back off before it notices who threw it; which ultimately means, don’t throw anything dirty at them, otherwise have fun with a temperamental horse.
