My eyes rested on her for a moment before I shift to one of my bookshelves, simply looking them over.
"Some times I think to myself... 'Wow, I'm old', but in all reality, I'm a newborn compared to those running around outside."

Perhaps it was rude to ask, but I didn't think either of us could be considered ladies at this point.
My eyes flicker to her shelf as well, though my eyes aren't focused to make out the titles on the spines.

My mind was rolling over in how to put it, yet decided it best to be blunt.
"I'm... Heh. I'm eighty-seven, as of four months ago."

I shift and sit on the edge of the bed, letting out a quiet sigh.
"Trust me, you never want to cross paths with a vampire that is over a hundred years old or more."
My words held more sincerity than anything I had said so far, which was saying something.

My eyes burned for a moment and I grip her arm, shifting back onto the bed more.
"Indeed we shall... Just let me know if I need to bite without biting," I say, licking her cheek.

I shift back some, trailing my hands down over her hips and back to undo her corset.
"Whatever you think works." I murmur, kissing the area between her shoulder-blades.

I finish untying my corset and toss it aside, stretching my arms above my head to pull my shirt off.
The air had a slight chill that caused goosebumps to rush over my skin, causing my fur to stand up on end for a few moments.
"How long has it been for you?"

I have goosebumps, too, but for a completely different reason.
I pull my corset off, having no shirt under it, and sigh at the ability to breathe again.
Her question makes me tilt my head and think;
"Uh..three years."
I lower my head, chuckling slightly.
"Recovering, I guess."

I had picked up her unease about the subject the moment I brought it up.
I lift her chin up so I can look at her, "Don't be ashamed of that. There's nothing wrong about needing space."
... I felt like I could tell her everything. That I should tell her everything, especially if something happens.
"We all need time to get through things... Look at me, for instance, took me about forty years to get over being dead."
